Syndicated Sound is the top ten, nationally ranked Mixed Show Choir from Tarpon Springs High School. This ensemble is comprised of 18 women singers and 18 men singers with an instrumental ensemble. This ensemble studies jazz and popular style music. Choreography and solo work are part of the course study.
Syndicated Sound has received Superior ratings and District and State Music Performance Assessments twenty out of the past twenty one years. Syndicated Sound also competes in and out of the state of Florida. In the past 10 years Syndicated Sound has represented the state of Florida five times at the World Show Choir Cup in Branson, Missouri.
It is recommended, but not required, that students take a year of Concert Choir in order to become familiar with the program as well as receive vocal training. If you’re looking to be admitted into Syndicated Sound then you may audition in the Spring. If you have good vocal abilities and positive attitude then it is encouraged that you tryout.
